I gave my life to Jesus Christ in the summer of 1972. It has proven to be the best decision I ever made. Jesus described the life of His followers this way, "From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water." (John 7:38) This has been my experience.
It's been said that true happiness is the ability to look back without regret, to look forward with confidence and to live the present to its fullest. This is what Jesus has given me. Through Jesus, my past sins have all been forgiven and He has used my failings for the ultimate good. Because of Jesus, my life has an eternal purpose and I know my ultimate destiny is to live with God in heaven forever. And day by day, to know the love of God and the power of His Spirit living within me has transformed me from the inside out.
With me, what you see is what you get. I don't mince words or only say things that people want to hear. I believe God despises hypocrisy, especially among those who claim to follow Him. Whether popular or not, I'll speak the truth of God's Word and leave it to you as to how you will respond. But as for me and my family, we've made our decision to fully follow Jesus.

A loving, loyal and supportive family is one of God's most wonderful earthly blessings. I am grateful to God for my wife, Roz, our five children, their three spouses and our grandson and for the love and encouraging spirit God has built into our family.
Jesus' last command was to "Go and make disciples of all the nations." I adopted this as my life mission in 1974 and since that time I've sought to make disciples (followers of Christ) by faithfully preaching and teaching the Word of God on campuses all over America and, now, in Europe and South Asia as well. While many Christians are content to stay within the walls of the church, my motto is "takin' to their turf" or, as Jesus said, "Go out into the highways and along the hedges and compel them to come in so that My house may be filled" (Luke 14:23).
